Introducing BOXMASTER!

SBC Bike & Box studio is excited to announce that we have the only BoxMaster unit in the Saratoga Region!

This unique innovative training tool was developed in Australia and recently sold to Star Trac, a fitness equipment company, for production.

Boxmaster is special kickboxing equipment that can be used for any level of fitness. It is a combination of heavy bags and focus pads for striking workouts. The Boxmaster pads have been arranged to replicate the different angles associated with each type of punch. This allows you to throw any punch or any combination of punches at any time. The Boxmaster builds both your endurance for short burst activity, as well as prolonged stamina. It also builds a strong core, powerful upperbody, and strong conditioned legs. The precise trained motions in boxing increases coordination as well as mobility! It will aide in weight loss and burn calories like you have never experienced before! It is non-intimidating and ideal for people who have never tried boxing before.

The Boxmaster will be used as a station during our 8 station “Hiit 30”circuit class. It will also be used during our “Bike & Box” combination cycle/boxing classes. Interval drills on the Boxmaster will include punching and kicking to numbered sequences called out by the instructor that will last anywhere from 30-90 secs. These drills will be combined with periods of active recovery doing various exercises such as jump roping, kettle bell swings, medicine ball slams or bodyweight exercises such as pushups, planks ect..
